What makes the red-purple variety different from regular dragon fruit?

We use Hylocereus costaricensis, the deeper red-purple variety, which has more intense color, sweeter flavor, and higher betalain concentration compared to the standard red-pink variety.

What does dragon fruit taste like?

The red-purple variety has a mildly sweet flavor similar to kiwi and pear with subtle berry notes and a deeper, richer taste than common white or pink varieties.

How do I use frozen dragon fruit cubes?

Run the sealed pouch under warm water for 30 seconds to partially thaw. Add cubes to your blender for smoothies, use as toppings, or let thaw for 10 minutes to eat as a snack. No chopping required.
